The family restaurant designed by Casé, the son of the traditional Gama Miranda family, before even opening its doors, already had a winning candidate to be the chef – the young Ana Bueno who, when entering the family, would end up taking over the business, enriching the kitchen with the pleasure of those who venture to make a great professional leap in life.

Under her command, the old and delicious recipes of local cuisine, a Banana da Terra tradition, gradually acquired new concepts. They have gained sophistication and lightness, unusual seasonings, delicate compositions, subtle touches in combinations that combine aromas, essences, flavors, colors and textures …

The connection with the evolution of Brazilian gastronomy is what guarantees the home the recognition of its strong identity in the universe of culinary excellence, distinguishing itself as a cultural trait of a people.


Since 1992 the history of Banana da Terra has been enriched by its successful experiences, which mainly value the knowledge, the high quality products and the integration of the work team. A daily quest for quality in the kitchen and service, recognized in the specialized press. A reference in the country, Banana has a star in Guia 4 Rodas and was considered one of the ten restaurants that best represent the Brazilian cuisine by a specialized jury, gathered by Vip magazine.
